Farm Animal Shelter & Sanctuary

A Safe Place for Animals in Crisis

At Charity Doings Foundation (CDF), we believe compassion should extend to every living being. Our farm animal shelter provides a safe place for vulnerable animals, offering shelter, veterinary care, food, and protection during emergencies and disasters.

Why This Matters

Standing With Animals When They Need Us Most

During the catastrophic floods of 2024, CDF teams undertook a major rescue operation, saving approximately 1.1 million animals from rising waters. At the sanctuary, veterinary staff worked around the clock to provide treatment, vaccinations, medicine, and feed.

Our work is part of a wider One Health vision, recognising that the wellbeing of animals, people, and the environment are closely connected.

Our Approach

A Sanctuary for the Voiceless

CDF operates Pakistan’s first large-scale farm animal shelter and sanctuary, a 7,800-square-foot facility designed to provide essential care and protection for animals in need.

01

Safe Shelter

The sanctuary gives farm animals a secure place to stay when they are displaced, injured, or affected by disaster.

02

Emergency Veterinary Care

Our veterinary teams provide treatment, vaccinations, medicines, and ongoing care to help animals recover.

03

Food & Fodder

The shelter is equipped with fodder and feed to ensure animals have access to the nourishment they need during difficult times.

04

Disaster Protection

During emergencies, the sanctuary becomes a place of safety where animals can receive immediate care and protection.
