Why This Matters

A diagnosis should never define a child's future

In many of Pakistan’s most remote and underserved regions, a diagnosis of Type-1 diabetes for a child can feel like a life sentence. Families face an impossible choice between affording daily, life-sustaining insulin and providing for their other basic needs. Access to diagnostics is scarce, and the constant travel to distant clinics adds an immense financial and emotional burden.

Charity Doings Foundation (CDF) believes that no child’s future should be limited by their geography or economic status. Our Diabetes Care Program is a dedicated lifeline, delivering hope directly to the doorsteps of those who need it most.

Our Integrated Approach

A sustainable ecosystem of care

We go beyond simply delivering medicine. We are building a sustainable ecosystem of care that empowers communities and strengthens local health infrastructure.

01

Free, Uninterrupted Insulin Supply

We provide a consistent and reliable supply of free insulin to children and adolescents with Type-1 diabetes, removing the primary barrier to their survival and well-being.

02

Targeted Geographic Focus

Our program is strategically implemented in areas where care is needed most, currently operating across:

11

districts in Balochistan

3

districts in South Punjab

2

districts in Interior Sindh

03

Strengthening Local Diagnostics

Our program is supported by CDF's Free Diagnostic Laboratory in Hub, Balochistan. This facility provides essential, free-of-cost blood tests, enabling accurate monitoring and management of diabetes and other chronic conditions, reducing the need for patients to travel long distances.

04

Community-Centric Care

We work with local health networks and community leaders to identify patients, ensure timely delivery, and provide basic health education to families, creating a support system that lasts.

The Impact: More Than Medicine

The chance to survive and thrive

For every child in our program, access to insulin means more than just managed blood sugar. It means the chance to attend school, to play with friends and to dream of a future without limits. It means lifting a heavy weight from the shoulders of parents, allowing them to focus on nurturing their families.

Our work in diabetes care is a core part of our commitment to building resilient, healthy communities from the ground up. Join us in providing this essential lifeline. Your support can ensure a child not only survives but thrives.
