Health Care

Making Healthcare Accessible to Communities That Need It Most

Access to healthcare can change the course of a life. Yet for many families living in underserved and rural communities, basic medical care, diagnostic testing and continued treatment can remain difficult to reach or simply unaffordable.

For Every Community

At Charity Doings Foundation (CDF), we work to reduce these barriers by bringing essential healthcare services closer to the communities that need them most. Our healthcare initiatives focus on access, early diagnosis, treatment support, public-health awareness and emergency medical assistance, with particular attention to people and families who may otherwise struggle to receive timely care.

Our approach goes beyond responding to illness. We aim to help communities identify health problems earlier, connect people with appropriate care and provide practical support when medical needs become especially difficult.

Accessibility & dignity

Healthcare Without the Burden of Cost

For a family already struggling with everyday expenses, the cost of a medical consultation, diagnostic test or ongoing treatment can become a serious barrier. Delayed diagnosis can allow health problems to become more difficult to manage, while interruptions in treatment can place additional pressure on patients and their families.

CDF works to address these challenges through healthcare initiatives designed around accessibility and dignity. Our free diagnostic services in Hub, Balochistan, for example, provide communities with access to a wide range of testing and medical diagnostic facilities without placing the financial burden on patients.

Our Healthcare Approach

Several areas of support, one connected journey

Healthcare needs are rarely limited to one appointment or one service. A person may need testing before a condition can be identified, treatment after diagnosis, follow-up to maintain progress, or emergency assistance when circumstances suddenly change.

That is why CDF’s healthcare work brings together several areas of support:

01

Early Diagnosis & Free Diagnostics

Timely diagnosis can make it possible to identify health conditions earlier and connect patients with appropriate care. Through the Free Diagnostics Hub Laboratory in Hub, Balochistan, CDF provides access to extensive diagnostic services for communities that have historically faced limitations in accessing healthcare.

The facility supports a broad range of investigations, including routine laboratory testing, blood-related tests, liver and kidney function testing, glucose testing, thyroid and hormone investigations, microbiology and imaging services.

02

Support for Chronic Conditions

Some health conditions require more than a one-time intervention. Patients may need continued access to medicines and treatment in order to manage their condition safely.

CDF's healthcare work includes support for children and adolescents living with Type-1 diabetes through the provision of insulin. By helping maintain access to essential treatment, this initiative supports young patients and their families in managing a lifelong condition.

03

Public Health & Disease Prevention

Individual healthcare and community health are closely connected. Conditions such as tuberculosis can affect entire households and communities when diagnosis and treatment are delayed.

CDF's TB and public-health initiatives focus on improving pathways for detection, diagnosis, awareness and connection to care, particularly in communities where access to healthcare services can be limited.

04

Emergency Medical Relief

Emergencies can place an immediate and overwhelming burden on already vulnerable communities. During crises and disasters, medical needs can emerge alongside food, shelter, water and other essential requirements.

CDF responds through emergency medical relief initiatives and camps that help bring healthcare assistance to communities affected by difficult circumstances.

From Testing to a Pathway of Care

A diagnostic test is only the beginning

A diagnostic test is only the beginning.

When a health condition is identified, people may need further medical advice, treatment, monitoring or referral. CDF’s healthcare approach therefore looks at the wider journey rather than treating diagnostics as an isolated service.

Our work connects different areas of healthcare so that communities can benefit from:

Awareness

Screening

Diagnosis

Treatment

Follow-Up

Continued Support

This approach is especially important for conditions that require ongoing management or where early intervention can help prevent further complications.
