“He who plants a tree, plants hope.” (Lucy Larcom) With increasing concerns about climate change and global warming, the global challenges of this era are unprecedented and have to be addressed with careful deliberation and policy planning. Pakistan as a nation not only faces this global threat but also addresses its policies as a developing country heavily reliant on fossil fuels for its energy production, which exceeds 58% of its total energy mix. This has led to severe consequences in terms of environmental impact and heavy carbon footprint, leading the nation into a spiral of unsustainable and costly growth trends.

Charity Doings Foundation, driven by the philosophy of chasing a secure future for our next generations

Charity Doings Foundation, driven by the philosophy of chasing a secure future for our next generations, has implemented the tree plantation drives projects, with the aim of developing
large swathes of barrens into lush and meandering plains. With numerical target driven projects at different location throughout the country, especially Punjab and Sindh, Charity Doings Foundation aims to alleviate the great imbalance in environmental sustainability. Trees serve as the natural guardians and the pillars of balance in nature, even more so in this era
of fast paced technological advances uncaring of future consequences. In order to restore the balance to the agitated environmental balance, tree plantation has become a crucial investment for our future

The tree and the fruit, the result of these untiring efforts, is the responsibility and promise we owe to our children, those who will carry on our legacy to face challenges, and always work towards a better tomorrow – one filled with forests and sunshine. This is a dream that Charity Doings Foundation embody, and together as a nation, we strive to achieve it! The ideology manifests in our emblem, as a testament to our commitment for the future. Shajarkaari – plantation – is the key to a greener tomorrow!

We aim to help all in need, without the gender, racial, relegious or class discrimination that is unfortunately not unknown in our society. Inclusivity also encompasses animals, as they are simultaneously provided for, especially with projects such as Paani.

All of the projects carried out by CDF fall under the single long term aim to transform our society for the better. Transformation is the goal at personal, local and national levels. We aim to not only transform lives for the better, but, by providing education, awareness, and opportunities, to also transform our society.
