One of the most compelling success stories of CDF’s advocacy work. Read Abdul Karim story.

SINDH – One of the most compelling success stories of CDF’s advocacy work is that of Abdul Karim, a farmer from a small village in Sindh. Abdul had built his entire livelihood around his herd of goats and a pair of oxen, which he used to plow his fields. His animals were more than just livestock; they were his family’s primary source of income and sustenance. When devastating floods hit his village, Abdul’s world was turned upside down. His home was submerged, his crops were destroyed, and his animals were left stranded and vulnerable. With no means to save them on his own, Abdul feared he would lose everything. “I thought I had lost everything when the floods came. My animals are my life, my only source of income. When Charity Doings Foundation came to our village, they not only saved my livestock but also gave me hope. They treated my animals like their own, providing them with food, shelter, and medical care. Because of CDF, I was able to rebuild my life and continue supporting my family. I am forever grateful to them for their kindness and dedication.” — Abdul Karim
