Asia Farm Animal Day, Hanoi Viet Nam, 2024 Conference

Charity Doings Foundation & Environmental and Animal Rights Consultants proudly represented Pakistan on the international stage at the Asia for Animals (AFA) conference, hosted at the Daewoo Hotel in Hanoi, Vietnam. Ahmad Malik, CEO of CDF, and Altamush Saeed, Co-founder of CDF and Founding Managing Partner of Environmental and Animal Rights Consultants LLP Pakistan , showcased our groundbreaking initiatives in Interspecies Justice.
We shared our impactful projects, including clean water solutions for both people and animals and vegetable garden initiatives across Pakistan. Altamush Saeed also moderated a critical session at the Asia Farm Animal Day (AFAD) on “Compassion for All Beings: Interspecies Justice and Disasters,” highlighting the urgent need to address and prevent disasters that affect all living beings.
A key moment was the premiere of “Animal,” Pakistan’s first locally produced farm animal law film, directed by CDF, which explores the Pakistan Halal Authority Act of 2016 and its implementation. This film is the first in a series aimed at raising awareness for animal law advocacy in Pakistan.
We are incredibly grateful to VIVE Vegfest and Scott Green for providing a platform to elevate Pakistan’s voice in global animal rights discussions. Stay tuned for more updates from CDF and EARC as we continue our work advocating for human, animal, and environmental rights worldwide.
